ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead Key Account Representatives within the region and deliver the agreed upon financial plan and targets 

  • Coaching, training, performance management, and providing feedback to improve associate performance 

  • Oversee account management and service level of contract customers 

  • Negotiate both contract renewals and new potential customer agreements as needed 

  • Escalationpointof contact for customer issues 

  • Execute performance management routines 

  • Understand Customer contracts and enforce compliance mutually 

  • Support and communicate company goals to assure Sales Plan and Profitability 

  • Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data 

  • ActivelyutilizesSysco proprietary CRM tool for planning and forecasting for sales growth andmaintainingupdated customer files

  • Accountable to the continuous improvement of Sysco’s Net Promoter score

  • Complies withSysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

  • Understands that their role is critical in creating a safe organization with minimal environmental impact and the value that brings to the organization.

  • Is willing to drive Environmental, Health and Safety performance by acting as an example and holding their team accountable tocomplying withEHS programs, policies, and requirements.

Qualifications/Skills/JobRequirements(About you):

  • Minimum of five (5) years of Sales experience 

  • Progressive Sales Management experience and leading teams

  • University or College degree/diploma or equivalent experiencerequired

  • Intermediateproficiencyin Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook 

  • Lead a team of high performing sales associates to deliver against deadlines and produce high-quality results (accuracy, thoroughness in the deliverables they are producing) 

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor peers and associates 

  • Strong financial acumen and ability toproperly planand execute business plans 

  • Demonstrated skillsin the area ofconsultative selling,networkingand negotiations 

  • Business and restaurant operations acumen to manage sophisticated customers 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence a variety of key stakeholders 

  • Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, foodcostand expense ratio 

  • Strong communicationskills;ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams 

  • Ability to understand and manage compliance to contracts 

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same time 

  • Ability to learn the use of proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth 

  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from data 

  • Embraces change and champions corporate initiatives

  • Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle may berequired
