ABOUT THE ROLE
Compensation
$80,000 - $130,000
Purpose
Responsible for the overall management and success of Sysco Canada’s Synergy Tech Suite system and partnership with MealSuite, our technology experts. Synergy Tech Suite has been supporting the continuum of care for Sysco Canada’s Healthcare and Senior Living customers for over 25 years through its revolutionary fully integrated technology.
Responsibilities
- Manages day to day relationship with Technology Partner (MealSuite).
- Leads Sysco healthcare teams in growing Synergy sales, improving customer success and increasing market share of the program in Canada.
- Develops and executes a strategic plan for Sysco’s investment in Synergy Technology.
- Works with technology partner (MealSuite) in providing sales, marketing, and technical support to our valued customers.
- Oversees Sysco’s contractual Synergy agreements with MealSuite and customers.
- Manages billing process between MealSuite, Sysco and customer.
- Responsible for Synergy marketing strategy. Leads MealSuite’s Marketing team to execute sales and marketing plan.
- Works collaboratively nutrition services team and MealSuite on future system development of Synergy to ensure it continues to meet and exceed the needs of our Canadian Healthcare and Senior Living customers.
- Ensures all Sysco team members receive Synergy training, marketing materials and other Synergy resources as needed. Educates on, promotes, and leverages these resources to build business with targeted accounts.
- Utilizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (Sysco 360) as communication and measurement tool.
Personal Responsibilities:
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Understands both the economic and cultural value that a safe organization with minimal environmental impact brings to an organization.
- Is willing to drive Environmental, Health and Safety performance by providing necessary resources and holding their team accountable to complying with EHS programs, policies, and requirements.
- Enables, champions and embraces an inclusive culture.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
- 5+ years' experience in the healthcare food service industry
- 5+ years' experience with healthcare systems
- 2 years sales experience, sales management experience is an asset.
- A post-secondary education in Nutrition/Human Ecology/Food Sciences and/or Food Administration/Food Service and Hospitality
- Registered Dietitian (RD) is an asset.
- Must have a high level of organizational and time management skills.
- The successful candidate will be energetic, responsive, decisive, and must possess a good knowledge of the foodservice industry.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills (verbal, written, presentations).
- Strong relationship management skills to establish trust and credibility with associates, business leaders, and subject matter experts, getting results with and through others without formal authority.
- Strong evaluation capabilities: to interpret business needs and recommend effective solutions that meet business objectives.
- Ability to implement change management strategies using consultation, facilitation, negotiation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to meet competing, challenging, and changing priorities in a short time period.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle may be required. Some travel required (up to 10%).
