ABOUT THE ROLE
Compensation
$70,000-$85,000
Purpose
To effectively lead a procurement team to achieve procurement goals.
To contribute to the company's profitability and success by optimizing sourcing strategies and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the procurement function.
- Establish and refine procurement processes and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
- Strategic Sourcing:
- Lead a team to analyze market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with merchandising managers, supply chain teams, finance, and other stakeholders.
Skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in procurement principles and best practices
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, procurement software)
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Experience
7+ years of experience, of which at least 2 leading a team
