$51,200 - $95,900
Purpose
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role involves addressing and resolving payroll issues, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting various payroll-related tasks. The Payroll Specialist will work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and provide valuable insights through data analysis and reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in payroll projects as a functional team member, tester, documenter, and SME on payroll processes.
- Act as a peer mentor or coach to payroll processors
- Continuously analyze payroll practices for compliance and process improvements for efficiency and productivity.
- Execute/assist with inquiries of payroll data from various sources including Salesforce and shared email inbox.
- SME and/or administration of various systems including, Workday Payroll, eTIME, ADP EV5.
- Various administrative tasks as needed including the processing of wage attachments.
- Work with IT Services to configure, test and support time and attendance and payroll systems..
- Responsible for timely and accurate processing, reconciling, and auditing of all related processes for assigned business units.
- Performs in-depth analysis and research related to payroll processing.
- Develops and maintains awareness of SOC 1 controls and accountable for compliance at each task performed.
- Builds relationships of trust, respect, and partnership with field contacts by providing exceptional customer service.

Education
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
