ABOUT THE ROLE
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties and day‑to‑day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Organize and manage workflow using warehouse management, labor management, inventory, and transportation systems, as applicable.
- Provide clerical support to outbound operations teams, including reviewing documents, entering data, and maintaining records.
- Prepare daily and periodic operational reports for warehouse and transportation leadership.
- Produce general communications for distribution within the operations department.
- Assist with inventory‑related activities, including tracking, product weight verification, inventory reconciliation, and related system updates.
- Perform auditor or verification duties in coordination with order selectors, forklift operators, and warehouse associates.
- Prepare and distribute paperwork for all delivery vehicles and outbound routes.
- Support environmental and safety initiatives while operating with a minimal environmental impact and awareness of operational hazards, incidents, and environmental spills.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or environmental issues according to established procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of personal safety responsibilities and speak up when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education:
- High school Diploma
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience in distribution environment · Exposure to ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate is preferred)
- Willing and able to work non-standard hours
