ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Responsibilities:
- To perform the necessary cleaning function in the warehouse.
- To accurately record information on SYSCO and external documents.
- To provide customer service both externally and internally.
- Assist in inventory and purchases of janitorial supplies as requested.
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
- 2 years general warehouse or related is an asset.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Exposure to operation of material handling equipment is an asset.
- Ability to work in cold environments.
- Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-pace environment.
Hours of Work
- 7pm - 3:30am
- Monday - Friday
