ABOUT THE ROLE
- Oversight for Retail Store and Fin’s at Home (sales, margin and social media management)
- As a working supervisor, provide support and work along
- Motivate and develop a team of Retail Sales Associates including training support on all Sysco related systems, current, and future programs.
- Assigned metrics for retail sales and timeliness that must be met or exceeded.
- Manage retail sales and handle cash.
- Process payments using POS machines for debit and credit.
- Managing issues and complaints to quick and satisfactory resolution.
- Assist customers with questions related to seafood products.
- Opening and closing duties for retail store.
- Maintain a clean work environment to in compliance with Sysco standards.
- Work closely with the sales team and Operations to maintain inventory levels and provide seamless and coordinated service to customers.
- Management and accountability regarding processes and streamline workflow of the department.
- Ensure incoming calls/emails/customer communications are handled in a professional and timely manner.
- Follow up with customers directly as needed for support and extra customer care.
- Hours as early as 7am and as late as 7pm depending on needs of the business
- Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) comprising Sysco’s Food Safety Program, specific for the assigned role.
- Assist Food Safety Program Manager in ensuring compliance to Sysco’s Food Safety Program that leads to compliance with third party certification and customer requirements.
- Understands that their role is critical in creating a safe organization with minimal environmental impact and the value that brings to the organization.
- Is willing to drive Environmental, Health and Safety performance by acting as an example and holding their team accountable to complying with EHS programs, policies, and requirements.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Retail Sales environment.
- Social Media platform management, preferred.
- Progressive leadership experience managing a team, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate others.
- High School diploma required.
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of cash sales and point-of-sale equipment.
- Exceptional communication dealing with retail customers.
- Proven effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Intranet.
- Must be detail-oriented, a fast learner, and be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to deliver and receive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
