ABOUT THE ROLE

Salary Range: $50,400.00 - $66,400.00
Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 11:00am – 9:30pm

Purpose

This is a Finance position responsible for performing cycle counts,compilingandmaintainingrecords of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the establishment and/or items to be returned.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventoryin accordance withFAMM.

  • Completes a minimum of four (4) cyclical counts per year; one full count per quarter.

  • Counts all pre-designated high dollar items, preparesresearchandreportsthese countsNotifies proper personnel of problems that may occur when adjusting these items.

  • Researchesreceiving packets returned to Inventory Control from Accounts PayablePrepares and reports to Inventory ControlManagerany errors that may have occurred.

  • Reviews and adjusts all damage reports given to Inventory Control by Operations and compares those reports with actual damage in warehouse.

  • Researchesandcorrectspossible shippingproblems reported to Inventory Control.

  • Comply withall applicable regulations/laws and company policies

  • Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)comprisingSysco’s Food Safety Program, specificforthe assigned role.

  • Assist Food Safety Program Manager in ensuring compliancetoSysco’s Food Safety Program that leads to compliance with third party certification and customer requirements.

  • Complies withSysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spillsimmediatelyto theirSupervisor.

  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues andiswilling tospeak out when hazards are present.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/JobRequirements

  • 1-year warehouse, inventory control, merchandisingexperienceor related experience, but notrequired.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • High School Diploma or GEDrequired.

  • Basic PC Skills. Ability to work in a Microsoft Environment beneficial.

  • Ability to add,subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
